About the Organisers



Johanna Hunt is a PhD student at the University of Sussex looking at Agile Software Development. She organises Coding Dojo meetings in Brighton.

Katy Howland is a Technology Facilitator at InQbate, and a PhD student with the IDEAs lab at Sussex, looking at computer game creation as an educational activity for young people.

Tom Hamilton is the Assistant Director for InQbate at Sussex. He also works as Research Project Manager for the IDEAs Lab where he is doing his DPhil in CSAI, looking at how space and technology can be used to enhance creativity and learning.

Karl Scotland is an Engineering Program Manager with Yahoo! Europe. He is an active member of the Agile community and is interested in ways of developing software that delivers value quickly and sustainably.

Matt Balaam is a graphic designer who has kindly donated his time to producing the advertising, image and design for this website.

Madeline Alsmeyer is a PhD student at the University of Sussex. Her interests are predominantly centred around designing and implementing innovative learner-centred technologies. This includes developing an understanding of how people interact with technologies.
